Schwarz Winery
The Schwarz winery stands for uncompromising quality and authenticity. With a deep connection to the region and a clear focus on the essentials, wines are created here that impress with their clarity and expressiveness.
From the very beginning, the aim was to produce independent and individual wines without committing too much to outdated traditions, but also not to jump on every new oenological trend. The focus was to be on the wine itself, not on any particular beliefs about how it should be produced.
Particularly noteworthy is the “Schwarz Rot”, a Zweigelt that impresses with its fruit, complexity and elegance.


“The Butcher” is not only a tribute to the beginnings, but also a special love child of the house. The grapes come from the Seewinkel and Leithaberg regions, and the unique labels were designed by Viennese artist Deborah Sengl. Of course, the wines are also suitable for vegans!
2024 saw the opening of the “SchwarzMarkt”, a modern tasting and sales area offering exquisite products from grapes to pork. A special highlight is the “Saumagen”, a bar in the shape of the organ of the same name.
